ANNOUNCING THERMOCHRONIC INKS FOR PROOFING

Now you see them and now you don't. Right before your eyes, images appear and then disappear at the touch of a hand or upon application of heat and cold. For the first time ever it is now possible to proof temperature sensitive, water based color images to virtually any substrate, including dry transfers. These remarkable inks can change color or can be practically invisible (very transparent) until coming into contact with heat or cold. A variety of special effects and color combinations are available using OptiColor's new Thermochromic Proofing Inks.

Designers are more apt to include special effects such as these if they and the client can see for themselves how it will look in the prototype stage before going to press. Our tech staff has perfected easy procedures to produce the custom images using the new ThermochromicProofing Inks. Twelve basic colors are available. Call for technical details and instructions.

Thermochromic printing inks are also available through Central Chemical & Service. Because the use of Thermochromic inks are most often project specific when going to press, Central Chemical & Service will provide information and pricing on the actual printing ink for flexographic, rotogravure, offset and silk screen printing processes.
